God is Able by Priscilla Shirer
How often do you refrain from asking things of God because you think they are too small or too insignificant? Personally, I find myself doing this ALL THE TIME! I think to myself, “now, God really has better things to do with His time than to help me sort out this mess I’m in.” In reality, these small and insignificant things are just the moments God needs to show us how much He truly cares about all of the things that matter to us.
Totality…that is a mighty big word. It encompasses a lot. I almost can’t even wrap my mind around its infinite meaning. Chapter Five highlights the words in the Ephesians 3:20-21 scripture that reads…all that we ask or think. God wants us to ask for His guidance and direction in all of the things we struggle with each day, things we mull over in our minds with uncertainty and especially those things that keep us from moving forward in life. It is truly an amazing relief to know that I serve a God who loves me so much that He wants to be apart of my life in such a way that nothing I can ask or think will scare Him away. I am completely covered. You are completely covered. God is able!
