So I am sitting here in my home office with lots of time on my hands! You see, this past weekend I completed a goal I set in 2021. For several years I knew that a deeper desire to build a relationship with God and have a better understanding of how to do it was a very real passion for me. I guess that's what my grandmother would say is a calling on my life. Whatever you call it, the desire came one day and never left. I knew I had to do something about it but was not sure what.

After a couple of years of procrastination and some research I came across a Women's Ministry course at Moody Bible Institute that fit exactly what I felt I needed. The course did not disappoint. I learned so much and grew so much and flat out changed so much that I was truly surprised. Some changes I knew would happen and others I had not expected. Yet, overall, I know I have come to the exact place in life I was meant to be.
The one thing I found in the last two years was my voice. I had not realized how much I have supported and given to others only to find that I had completely depleted myself. Moody gave me some wonderful tools to help me stand firm in my own foundation that I am certain I will continue to use for years to come.

This past Thursday my family and I flew to Chicago for my graduation on Saturday. I have graduated a couple of times before but this one was different. When I graduated from college with my degrees in education that was something I had to do. Graduating from Moody was something I got the opportunity to do. It was pure joy! My family and I had an amazing time in Chicago. As my sister reminded me when we returned home on Sunday, more memories were being made. I could not agree more!
I know this post is titled what's next, however, I do not know what's next. I have spent the last two years working on papers each week and today, I will be cleaning my office and boxing up all of my school materials. Who knows what bright idea may pop into my head next. Whatever it is, I am certain I will be sharing it in a blog post soon!
Growth doesn't come without change!
