Finding God

Studying the Bible is my jam. Learning something new, period, is my jam. I never want to feel stuck or get too complacent. Knowledge is truly power and as such, after graduating from Moody Bible Institute this past May, I am consistently looking for tools to help enhance my study of the Bible.

Recently, I can across a website called Spiral Bible. There were many things I like about the Bible they advertised. The first being the spirals which gives the Bible the opportunity to lay flat. The second was the note lines which would give me the opportunity to take notes right on the page. The company has many options for various groupings of different books of the Bible. I finally settled on the Gospel Spiral of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

After ordering, I waited with excitement for my Bible to come. During my wait, I had a conversation with my daughter in which she shared with me her desire to study the Bible. She was asking my opinion about which type of Bible would be best to study with. I told her about the Spiral Bible I had just ordered and what I liked about it. I told her I'd show it to her when it arrived to see if she liked it.

A few days later, the Bible arrived. We opened it together and before I could get it out of the packaging she snatched the book from me and started flipping through it. She was in love! And so was I. There were many things we both liked about the book and as she held it to her chest saying, "Mimi, I really like this Bible", I knew there was only one thing to do. I told she could have it and that I'd order myself another one.

A couple days later, I came across an online coupon from Spiral Bible and ordered another one. No sooner than I completed the order and told my daughter that mine would be here soon, she replied, "oh, I forgot to tell you, I showed my brother the Bible you gave me and he wants one too." Laughing, I looked at my Love who said, "well, there is only one thing you can do."

As of today, I have placed my third order at Spiral Bible! Looking forward to sharing the love of God with my tribe!
