If I learned anything in 2022 it is the importance of sharing life with positive, loving people. People who want to see you win. People who can cheer you on while waiting on their own hand clapping, foot stomping moment of celebration. In nearly every book I have read on personal growth, surrounding yourself with like-minded, positive people can have and equally positive, growth-minded impact on you and your life. It took me a minute but I know for certain that this is true.
Individually, we work hard to build ourselves up and to live a life we love. But sometimes life can get hard and difficult challenges can come along. It is in those moments that having like-minded, positive and supportive people around can come in handy. Because they know you, know the goals you are trying to reach and most definitely understand the assignment, they will encourage you, remind you of your strengths and give you the support you need to get back on track.
My sister, many of my close friends and I had some great hang out, breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner dates. We also shared many day trips and overnight trips in 2022. At the time, I was simply having fun and enjoying my time with the people I love. Until recently, I did not make the connection to this group of people as being my tribe. The tribe that helped me to succeed and stay on track when so often I wanted to jump off. I did not realize that while I had been reading all of those books on personal growth and making mental notes to surround myself with like-minded people, I already had! I simply needed to open the eye of my heart to see the amazing people who contributed to my life everyday. I had this wonderful tribe of people who have kept me and gathered me whenever I needed support.

In my mind, I was working hard to support them and be there for them that I did not recognize all that they were giving to me. As I began my meditation and manifestations for the new year, I was drawn to learn that genuine, authentic love is based on a selfless admiration and fondness for another person. You wish them happiness even if that happiness doesn't include you. This is the kind of love my tribe has given to me. What I pray for in 2023 is more of this kind of love for myself as well as for those I care about.
Circle of Love Tribe...
